A walk leader training course has been organised at Gamesley Community Centre on Saturday 27th October from 9.30 - 4.30 PM. The course is FREE.
Volunteer Walk Leader Training Course
Volunteer Walk Leader Training Course is a one day course which is recognised by the British Heart Foundation's National Centre for Physical Activity and Health, and is Endorsed Training on the Register of Exercise Professionals.
Everyone who attends the course is given a full training manual, and a formal Certificate of attendance. Having successfully completed the training day, you will be registered on the Walking the Way to Health (WHI) insurance, and be therefore fully insured to lead walks with the general public.
